The company's accident frequency has been dropping steadily over the past five years, with the most recent rates representing the lowest since the company began keeping records in 1987.

Con-way Truckload Announces Drivers of the Year

January 21, 2010 - Con-way Truckload, a full truckload carrier and subsidiary of Con-way Inc. (NYSE: CNW), today announced its 2009 Drivers of the Year - the company's highest recognition. The drivers selected were Al and Jennifer Sidwell of Parkersburg, W.Va.; Michael and Jennifer Burns of Leechburg, Pa.; Ken Taylor of Hallettsville, Texas; and Jon Smith of Joplin. The winners comprise both solo and team drivers who had been named Drivers of the Month during the previous year.

Con-way Freight Improves Service to Customers by Cutting Transit Times to 460 U.S. Destinations

Con-way Truckload Drivers Reach Three-Million-Mile Mark

January 04, 2010 - Con-way Truckload, a full truckload carrier and subsidiary of Con-way Inc. (NYSE: CNW), announced that three of its professional drivers have achieved the elite career milestone of three million miles of driving. The company recognized company driver Ron Dodson of Lee's Summit, Mo., and owner-operators Jim Freeman of Webb City, Mo., and Jim Cory of Joplin, Mo., for their accomplishments at a recent ceremony at its Joplin headquarters.
