Con-way Truckload, a full truckload carrier and subsidiary of Con-way Inc., has won recognition from some of the country’s most respected industry leaders due to the hard work and dedication of our employees nationwide. Below are just a few of the more recent awards celebrating Con-way Truckload:
SmartWay™ Award (2009)
Con-way Truckload received the highest fuel efficiency and environmental performance score for 2008 from the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency’s (EPA) SmartWay™ Transport Partnership. For the second consecutive year, Con-way Truckload received a Shipper Index Factor (SIF) of 1.25, the highest possible score awarded under the EPA program.
Best Fleet to Drive For (2009)
Con-way Truckload was named a Best Fleet to Drive For by the Truckload Carriers Association (TCA). Of the 70 nominated for-hire carriers, Con-way Truckload was among 20 to receive the first annual award. Carriers were evaluated on performance in areas such as benefits, professional development, driver and community support, and safety record.
Stevie® Award (2009)
Con-way Truckload won a Stevie® Award for Sales Department of the Year in the Distribution & Transportation category. Stevie Award judges selected winners from a group of finalists chosen from more than 500 entries submitted by companies of all sizes in a wide variety of industries.
